This year, premium wheel maker and sponsor, Vossen Wheels, arrives at Monterey Car Week for the very first time, and The Paddock is proud to host their debut. Built in Miami and seen around the globe, Vossen Wheels combines design, precision, and innovation in every set they produce. A Masterpiece from Rünge Cars: RS010

Hand-built aluminum, coach-built soul. The Runge RS010 will be on the show field for all to admire. Created by craftsman Chris Rünge, using a traditional buck and English Wheel, it is a standout among the special cars on display this year. Built in the tradition of midcentury racers, the RS010 blends stunning form with an obsessive attention to detail and continues to captivate enthusiasts with its sculptural lines and one-of-a-kind presence.

DeSimone ZC10 Azzurro: A Vision in Blue

At just 16 years old, Luke DeSimone began crafting what would become the ZC10 Azzurro — a handmade, functional concept car inspired by classic Italian sports cars and modern WEC prototypes. Built entirely by DeSimone, the Azzurro features a tube steel chassis, carbon fiber and fiberglass bodywork, a pneumatic airbrake system with active aero, and dramatic gullwing doors. With a dry weight of just 1867 pounds and 507 horsepower, from a BMW S85 V10 mated to a Porsche 5-speed manual, the car boasts a theoretical top speed of 214 mph. It is a testament to youthful vision, perseverance, and pure mechanical artistry.
