Concorso Italiano Announces 2025 Chief Judge: Gary Bobileff

We are thrilled to announce that Gary Bobileff, one of the most respected names in the world of Italian car restoration and judging, will return as Chief Judge for Concorso Italiano 2025—our monumental 40th Anniversary Celebration!

For more than four decades, Gary has been immersed in the world of exotic and vintage automobiles. As the founder of Bobileff Motorcar Company, he is renowned for restoring over 30% of the world’s remaining Lamborghini Miuras, earning global recognition for excellence in mechanical and cosmetic restoration. From humble beginnings as a teenage mechanic’s apprentice at Luigi Chinetti Motors—the original Ferrari importer—to restoring icons that win at Pebble Beach, Gary’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary.

Gary’s name is synonymous with authenticity, passion, and precision. He’s judged at some of the world’s most prestigious concours, including Cavallino, Wynn Las Vegas Concours, Newport, and even the Lamborghini Factory Concours in Porto Piccolo, Italy, where he was the only American ever invited to judge.

When asked what makes Concorso so special, Gary shared: “Concorso is a special event—as there’s no snobbery involved. Entrants are true car enthusiasts. It’s casual, fun, and uncomplicated. A great time for all.”

With new ownership and fresh energy behind Concorso Italiano, Gary is excited about what lies ahead: “Looking to the future with new owners, ‘fresh blood’ is stimulating. I see the show progressing upward and becoming better every year.”
